"Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"

Matthew 6:10

How does "on earth as it is in heaven" happen?  Does God just woosh down bring heaven to earth on His own?  He could if he wants to, but the truth is that this is one of the main reasons you and I were created, to bring heaven to earth.  We are called to be the carriers of God's Glory in this world (Isaiah 60:1).  In the Model Prayer Jesus says to pray for an invasion of heaven on earth; "Your KINGDOM come Your will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN".  We are called to pray "as it is in heaven" wherever we are in this world.   So in order to know what we are praying for, we have to examine what it's like in heaven.  In heaven there is no sickness, no pain, no sorrow, no violence, no disease, etc., and heaven is completely consumed by the presence of God.  We also need examine what heavenly things we should be practicing on earth.  Revelation 4 describes the worship in heaven, there is constant worship of God declaring his holiness, strength, power, honor and glory.  So when we worship here on earth, we are synchronizing heaven and earth.  God is always drawn to the worship of his people's hearts.  (Psalm 22:3).

INVADE IS A MOVEMENT that was birthed out of the desire to bring "heaven on earth" in public places.  We believe that true revival and restoration is not going to happen until we take it to the world.  The manifestations of miracles, signs and wonders increase when the love and power of God is being poured, through His people, in the world.  We see this in the ministry of Jesus as He was often walking the streets when he performed miracles, signs and wonders.  We also need to remember the mandate that He left us as he ascended into heaven:

Mark 16:15-18

This commandment was really just a re-cap of the things Jesus had said all along as he was on earth.  In Luke 19:10 He told us clearly that he came to seek and save the lost and in Matthew 10 he sent out the firs disciples with instructions nearly identical to that of the Great Commission that we read above.

Imagine what can happen in your local mall, or in the roughest area of your city, with an invasion of heaven on earth in that place?  Just think of the things God will do!  It was Jesus who said "You will do even greater things than me." (John 14:12)  It's time for The Church to start believing that and stepping out in faith into our communities. 

INVADE is taking all of this and unleashing it in public places, such as a mall, a park, a parking lot, sidewalks, etc.  It's marching into the enemy's camp and taking back the ground that was stolen from our God. It's going to where the lost are, and worshipping and praying for an invasion of heaven on earth in those places.  It's praying for salvation, healing, deliverance and freedom for the people that need it the most.  It's giving sandwiches and drinks to the hungry within a city, it's giving clothing to the naked and cold.  It's showing the drug addicts and alcoholics that there is a better buzz in Jesus!  It's giving hope to the weary, because Christ in You is the hope of Glory!
